2026 Future Conservationist Awards: funding for early-career conservationists

What founders should know

Opportunities for Youth reported the opening of the Conservation Leadership Programme’s 2026 Future Conservationist Awards in November 2025. The article describes project grants of up to US$15,000 for early-career conservationists in eligible countries.

Successful teams could also access the CLP alumni network, mentorship, training and professional support. The article listed 9 January 2026 as the application deadline, so this is a past call, not a current opportunity. The original article provides the eligibility and project requirements for that award cycle.
